Tracking For Success – What Gets Measured Improves!

“Can Tracking For Success Improve Your Results?”

Hello. It’s Matt with Operation Awesome Life. I hope you are having an amazing second week of 2016. I am really excited to talk to you about this blog post.

So what’s the topic that I want to talk to you about today? The topic is tracking for success.

What I want to express to you is something that I’ve been noticing with myself. This is something that I’ve done for years in a lot of areas but it’s also something that I’ve noticed many other people do. Different people do it differently but the main objective is that, if you want something or an area of your life to grow, it’s so important to track your results!

Why is it so important to track your results?

Many people get so lazy with it because they say things like;

“I don’t need to do that. I already know what I want to do. I don’t want to get discouraged because I am not where I want to be yet”.

  1. It’s imperative that you track your results.

If you don’t track your results little things slip by you. For instance, if you want to get in shape and lose weight and don’t track your results, what happens is you might slide in a few extra calories here and there without really registering it in your mind. You are aware of it but you forget about it.

  1. We are usually working a lot less than we think we are

If you are trying to grow your business you might think that you are working all day on your business. You might think you are putting in twelve hour days but if you took the time and wrote down everything you did for that day and how long it took you to do it, most of the time we are working a lot less than we think we are. Especially if you work from home, it becomes so easy to take a quick little break.

  1. There are little things that slip by if we don’t track.

No matter what it is in your life, I can guarantee you if you track it you will become much more cognizant of what’s actually happening and how far you are moving towards your goal or away from your goal every day. It’s something that I have rekindled and really focused on the first week of 2016 but I am already in only 2 weeks seeing incredible results just from tracking.
