How To Destroy Self-Doubt And Stop Worrying

Hey, it’s Matt, with operationawesomelife.com.  today I want to shoot a video to talk about how to destroy self-doubt and stop worrying.

[Video Transcript]  We all have different negative feelings and emotions that we deal with on a day-to-day basis.  Self-doubt and worry being a couple of them. There’s also anxiety and fear and other types of things that come into our life.  These feelings and emotions can really prohibit us from having the type of success that we want to and that we deserve to have.

Don’t Let Self-Doubt And Worry Stop You

It’s very important that we don’t allow feelings such as self-doubt and worrying to take too much of a stronghold in our life.  Or to stop us from doing the things that are most important to us.

I have a tip for you guys that I think will be helpful for you to eliminate and destroy self-doubt. And it will also stop you from spending too much time worrying or thinking about the different anxieties that may be holding you back.  Or on feelings that give you lack of confidence moving ahead in your life.

What Causes Of Self-Doubt And Worry?

The first thing I want to talk about is, why do we have self-doubt? Why do we worry in the first place?  And what are the root causes that make us feel those type of feelings?

I really think the root cause for these feelings are a lack of understanding and a lack of putting in the time to learn more and study more.

Obviously, if you are spending a lot of time in self-doubt or worrying, there’s a problem in your life that you’re trying to solve.  And you really have some insecurities about that problem. You also have some insecurities about if you’re going to be able to overcome that problem.  Also if it’s a problem that’s going to last for a long time in your life, you don’t want this thing to be a problem for for long-term and so you’re worried about it.

Or you’re concerned that you’re not going to do as well executing whatever it is that you have to do to get yourself in a good position in your life. We need to address those issues if we want to overcome self-doubt and worry.

Gaining Understanding And Learning New Skills

We need to start off by realizing that if you’re concerned that you’re not going to do good with something it stems from not having a good understanding.  If you’re learning a new skill and you’re not spending enough time learning that skill, the chances are good you’re not going to do very well at it.  If you’re not putting in the time to study it. You’re not putting in the time to learn the new skill.  And you’re not putting in the time to really practice and to gain some positive feedback as to how you can improve in that particular situation, so that you don’t have those feelings anymore.  Then this will cause worry and self-doubt.

The best thing that we can do when we find ourselves in a situation where we’re experiencing tons of self-doubt and worry is to recognize those are feelings that are being caused because we have a lack of understanding.

Doubt, Worry, And Anxiety No More!

If you have, understanding of a subject, you’re not going to worry. You’re not going to have this fear and anxiety in your life because why would you worry about something that you understand? That you understand how to do?  You’re not going to worry about that because there’s nothing unknown about it.

We worry and we have this self-doubt when we don’t understand. When it’s a new horizon. When it’s something brand new in our life that we’re insecure about and we’re a little uneasy because were uneducated. We don’t have a good understanding of it.

The best thing you can do to get more understanding is to recognize why those feelings of worry and self-doubt are affecting that particular situation.

If you’re feeling those feelings about a specific part of the circumstance or the goal that you’re trying to obtain, then realize that you just need to spend time gaining greater understanding.  And spending more time studying and learning all the concepts, all the techniques involved, and all the ways to create what you want to create.

Focus On Creating What You Want, Not On Doubt

By doing this you’re taking the focus away from the actual fear of it not working out and you’re putting the focus on how to create it so that it does work out. How to actually execute your situation, or how to execute the strategies, or whatever it is, properly.

By learning how to execute them properly you’re going to eliminate that worry and self-doubt automatically. Also, you’ll realize that it’s hard to do two things at once.

In other words, it’s really hard to worry and have self-doubt while, at the same time, you’re concentrating on trying to get better at something.

If you’re putting in the time and effort every single day to get better, to learn, to gain greater understanding, then you’re not going to have the time, the focus, or the energy, for that matter, to actually think about the self-doubt and worry side of the equation. It just won’t be possible because you’ll be so busy thinking and acting on all these positive feelings.

Final Thoughts On How To Destroy Self-Doubt

With that being said, guys, that is my tip for that. I think it will really be helpful for you if you implement it. Whenever you encounter a situation where you have self-doubt or where you are feeling a lot of worry, then what you want to do is just map out a plan on what it is that you need to do to get better understanding to learn more about that topic.

Before you know it, you will not even have these feelings of worry, self-doubt, and anxieties, or anything like that.
